Amendment 1

In Article I it says that we have the "Ok" to believe any religion, speak freely, stand up for what you believe in, meet with a group of people in public, and tell the government what you think is needed. This article makes sure that all of these freedoms or "Ok's" here that are promised are being protected. By the government giving us this freedom we re able to live the way we want to, if not it would be like living with chains that do not let you be free.
Amendment 2
In Article 2 it says that we have the "Ok" to have weapons like guns to protect your self and your family. By the "Ok" of the government people feel good that they can protect their families from bad guys.
Amendment 3 In Article 3 it says that soldiers will not be bothered when there is no fighting and is promised there peace. This rule was made for soldiers during the time that America was still ruled by Britain. During this time British police guys would come and take soldiers with out letting the know, and that was mean.

Amendment 5
In Article 5 is meant for anyone that has been told that they have done something bad or crime. This Article says that, that person is a good person (innocent), until that person is really told that they are a bad person (guilty). Also the person has the freedom to have his crime or the thing he did bad to have it looked at by a group of people. Final, the person that has been told that they have done something bad can not be tried (or taken to a judge) for the same thing two times. So, say that you have eaten a cookie before dinner time last week and again yesterday you can not get in trouble two times, only one time.
Amendment 6
In Article 6 it says that if you have been told that you have done something bad you have the "Ok" to have a fast trial or faster time in front of the judge. It also says that you have to see the judge in the city that you have done the bad thing in. So, like if you do something bad in Vacaville you can not go to Fairfield to see a judge.
Amendment 8
In Article 8 it says that if you have done something bad and they put you in jail. Like when you get in trouble for stealing your little brother's or sister's toy and your mom puts you in time-out for 5 minutes, that is a good time for being in time-out. But what if you did the same thing but your mom puts you in time-out for 15 minutes rather than 5 minutes. That's unfair. This article says that if you did something bad you have to pay to get out but the government can not put you a lot of money for you to get out.
Amendment 9
In Article 9 it says that all the things that the Constitution says is "Ok" is ok but we have other things that are "Ok" that the are not in the Constitution but it is still "Ok".
