Articles 1 - 7
Article 1
There are three parts of the government like there are three parts to an Oreo cookie. Article I is about the legislative part of the government (one cookie of the Oreo). A group of people called Congress makes the legislative branch. In this article Congress gets their powers and limits to what they can do. The purpose of Congress is to make laws, laws are rules that we live by. This article also creates the two parts that make Congress: Senate and the House of Representatives.

Article 2
In Article 2 it presents the executive part of the government (the frosting in the middle of the cookie which holds both cookies together). The leader of the executive branch is the President. He makes sure that the laws are followed. No matter what this branch is what keeps both of the other branches running, its the main branch.

Article 3
In Article 3 it presents the judicial branch (the other cookie that makes the Oreo). The judicial branch is what makes courts and judges. The job for judges in court is to explain the laws that are trying to be made to the people. This branch also makes the Supreme court which is the mama court and the Federal courts who are the baby courts.

Article 4
In Article 4 it explains the friendship between the federal government and the state governments. This article tells the states what things they can do and not do. It also explains what needs to happen to add new states. This article makes sure that all people in all states are treated the same no matter what state they came from.

Article 5
In Article 5 it show us how to "amend" or change the constitution. There are two steps to pass an amendment. An amendment is a change that wants to be put in the Constitution. The first step to making a change is for the state or Congress to present or show the idea. Then the idea has to ratified or passed, if three people out of five people say yes to the idea than the idea is part of the Constitution.

Article 6
In Article 6 it says that all deals and promises made before the Constitution was made are still remembered. This article also says that the Constitution is the boss of all rules ever made. That means that all the people have to follow the rules in the Constitution even policemen, firefighters, judges, and even the President.

Article 7
Article 7 is the last article in the Constitution. In Article 7 explains how many states need to say "Yes" so that the Constitution can be approved. At that time there were only 13 states not 50, so this article says that only 7 out of the 13 states have to say "Yes" so the that the Constitution can be approved.
